Premium Organic Sri Lankan Coconuts are one of the master botanicals essential to Kuji plant-based blends. We use the oil and cream for their abundance of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) making it a superfood vital for optimal health. While also acting as a naturally-occurring stabiliser to preserve the active phytonutrients and enzymes found in our mix of herbals.

When hunting down just the right Coconuts to create our signature plant cream, we quickly discovered not all are created equal. King Coconuts – a variety native to Sri Lanka – reigned supreme. Their sweet yet balanced flavour hold the perfect posture to support the herbs, spices and medicinal mushrooms included in our plant-based recipes.

We choose to work with an award-winning partner whose high ethical and sustainable practices aligned with our own. Raw, unrefined and organic, each Coconut used in our oil and cream are sourced from small-batch farmers in local Sri Lankan communities. We believe this conscious source is absolutely key to the high-vibrating nature of each signature Kuji latte.

Coconut’s abundance of medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) is what makes them a unique superfood, with lauric acid constituting approximately 47% of coconut oil (1). These MCFAs are known as “healthy fats” as they are metabolised differently to other fatty acids; shown to increase metabolic function and even boost weight loss (2). Studies have also shown coconuts MCFA-rich composition may support overall brain health (4), reduce inflammation (3), prevent aging (4), protect against viruses and act as a sustainable source of energy (3).
