The master botanical of our sumptuous Arabic Coffee plant-based blend. Our Longberry Coffee Beans are directly sourced from one of Ethiopia’s oldest and most prestigious coffee plantations. Organically and consciously-grown in Harar - the motherland of coffee culture - and then roasted by the genius of Osamah Alawwam in Saudi Arabia. The result? A coffea arabica bean of unparalleled quality.

In Ethiopia, coffee plays a central role in everyday living as a source of sustenance, togetherness and vitality. One common Ethiopian saying is “buna dabo naw”, which literally translates to ‘coffee is our bread’. The Longberry Bean is one famous variant of coffee from the famous Harar coffee growing region. Known for its distinctly fruity and rich and winey notes with mocha notes, Harar Longberry is the ultimate bean for making a traditional Arabic Coffee.

Coffee is packed with antioxidants as well as magnesium and chromium, essential minerals that your body needs. Its abundant levels of antioxidants, including caffeine (yes – caffeine is an antioxidant!) and chlorogenic acid (CGA) have been shown to potentially decrease signs of aging caused by damaging free radicals (1), protect against Alzheimer’s and dementia through improved memory function (2), and strengthen your mental focus.

Coffee is also a potent thermogenic. It can help increase metabolic rate and stimulate movement. In some studies, it’s been shown to increase fat mobilization and oxidation which promotes fat loss (3).

Of course, the coffee bean is a powerful remedial plant and should be treated as a medicine. As with any medicine, you can overdose which leads to unwanted and harmful symptoms. That’s why we strongly believe in only consuming our Arabic Coffee latte a maximum of once daily before 12 noon to receive the optimal benefits from this beautiful plant.
